Dr Costa Karihaloo performs surgery for gastro-intestinal cancer, gallstones, weight loss, hernia and reflux, and upper and lower gastro-intestinal endoscopy.

Dr Christine O’Neill MBBS(Hons) FRACS MS Breast, Endocrine, General Surgeon.

Dr Chris O’Neill is a specialist general surgeon with specific expertise in thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and breast oncology surgery. She also provides general surgical services including the treatment of hernia, and gall bladder disease.

Dr Adeeb Majid MBBS, MS, FRACS, ANZHPBA General and Abdominal Surgeon

Dr Adeeb Majid is a specialist general surgeon providing services in both the public and private sectors. He has a special interest in surgery of liver, gall bladder, pancreas, stomach and anti-reflux surgery and melanoma. He also performs hernia surgery (laparoscopic and open), gall bladder surgery and gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr David Burnett BSc(med) MBBS FRACS ANZHPBA

Dr David Burnett is a laparoscopic, liver and pancreas surgeon based at John Hunter Hospital. For the last 3 years after becoming a general surgeon he has undergone additional sub-specialist training with some of the best surgeons in Melbourne and Sydney, through the ANZHPA training program. He graduated from this program first in Australasia with the Robert Padbury medal.

Cathy Harbury

Cathy Harbury is a clinical dietitian with more than 20 years clinic experience.  Since 2008 her practice has been dedicated to working with individuals who carry extra weight which is affecting their health.  She is also a conjoint lecturer with the Faculty of Health at the University of Newcastle and contributes to the training of nutrition and dietetic students.  She is undertaking a research higher degree at the University of Newcastle and her research is focused on the association between nutrition knowledge, diet quality and weight. Nicole West is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Nicole has worked in the public hospital clinical setting and privately for ten years. Nicole is very passionate about individual weight therapy to meet each client’s personal goals and lifestyle. Nicole also has experience in a wide range of clinical nutrition areas including diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, food allergies and oncology. See more here.
