Dr David Burnett

Dr David Burnett is a laparoscopic, liver and pancreas surgeon based at John Hunter Hospital. For the last 3 years after becoming a general surgeon he has undergone additional sub-specialist training with some of the best surgeons in Melbourne and Sydney, through the ANZHPA training program. He graduated from this program first in Australasia with the Robert Padbury medal.

Dr Suzanne Di Sano

Dr Suzanne Di Sano is a General Surgeon and a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She has studied at University of NSW and in Newcastle. She has four years of subspecialty experience, including two years on the Gold Coast completing a robotic fellowship. Following this she obtained highly competitive positions at St Vincent’s Melbourne and the Austin Hospital.

Areas of specialty: Keyhole and Robotic, Upper GI including Bariatrics, and Complex Hernia Repair.

Dr Nicholas Bull

Nick is a General Surgeon trained in the Newcastle and Hunter region. He has undergone further training in Hepatic, Pancreatic and Biliary surgery with interests in both benign and malignant disease. He is GESA accredited for ERCP, gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
