GORD & Anti Reflux Surgery
GORD (Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease) is a condition where stomach acid frequently flows back into the oesophagus, causing symptoms like heartburn, regurgitation, and chest pain due to a weakened lower oesophageal sphincter. Anti-reflux surgery is a procedure that strengthens the barrier between the stomach and oesophagus to prevent acid reflux, most commonly performed using laparoscopic techniques to wrap part of the stomach around the lower oesophagus (fundoplication).

Hiatus Hernia Repair
Hiatus hernia repair is a surgical procedure to correct a condition where part of the stomach pushes up through the diaphragm into the chest cavity, typically performed laparoscopically to reposition the stomach and strengthen the diaphragmatic opening (hiatus) to prevent recurrence.
